Cancer Program Overview
NPTEC currently has two core cancer initiatives:
The Northern Plains Comprehensive Cancer Control Program (NPCCCP) is working on improving cancer education, prevention, screening, treatment, palliative, end of life, and survivorship care for Northern Plains Native Americans through a variety of workgroups, community grant projects, and training opportunities.
The Northern Plains Tribal Cancer Data Initiative (NPTCDI) is working to improve the quality, accessibility, and usability of cancer data for Northern Plains Native Americans.
